Cass is a member of GUTS or Gonzaga University Theatre Sports. GUTS is the longest-running improv troupe in the Inland Northwest and has been running for over 35 years. GUTS performs roughly 8 shows annually in the Magnuson Theatre and practices twice a week. Cass has run tech for GUTS, been scorekeeper, MC, AMC, and performed!

Cass is also involved with Gonzaga's sketch comedy group, Boone Street Hooligans, which has been running since 2012. Luke has designed the lights and sound for Boone Street's 18th-22nd shows.

In high school, Cass also competed at the annual Improv Fest, a competition where technicians read a short play, then design the sound, lights, sets, and costumes for it. After being given a twist about the show, groups have to update their designs to match. Cass and their group earned 1st at the 2019 competition.
